The numbers were somewhat off at work tonight, so my supervisor called me into the office to help him re-count the daily deposit and find the missing money.
There was more cash on that counter than Matt and I make in a year, put together.
Amazing. Kind of scary, really. And that was just the cash; not the checks, not the debit and credit card purchases.

Wow. I know that company makes amazing amounts of money every day, but.. wow. That's still a lot. It's really mind-boggling when you quantify it like that.

I used to be a cashier for the Hot Springs Pool in Glenwood, and was always astonished at the amount of money that I would drop at the end of the day, which I could multiply by 6 some days due to the number of shifts and cashiers...
