Two New Projects

Jen, you will be so proud of me!

Photobucket

These are for a coin quilt (sorta like this), my very first! To start with something small, it'll be a baby quilt. For me. Or rather, for my baby.

Okay, calm down! Sorry to get you all excited! No baby yet. Actually, no baby for a while. But we are Officially Going to Start Trying this Fall. So IF I get pregnant right away, this time next year I'll be hugely pregnant! Oh boy. Scary and exciting at once. Mostly, right now, really really exciting.

I get to sew and knit baby stuff! AND KEEP IT!

Hey... I came over from my google reader and your 8 things friday (that i read on reader) doesn't show up here.... so that's weird. Okay, my thoughts are : have you heard of paperback swap? You could totally support your reading habit and clear out the star wars books. Reguarding getting rid of your big bookcase, do you HAVE to get rid of it. I will blog a picture today just for you (when the sun comes up, I'm up early) but I needed "something" in my living room, so I brought our big bookcase down out of the office (that Phil never goes into since he got his laptop) which has become my craft room.... and I put it downstairs and turned it on it's side!! So it's like a big console table, or it could become a sofa table maybe! I saw the idea on Top Design and couldn't wait to try it. It's like a whole new piece of furniture and it didn't cost me a penny!
